Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ to feature Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, says report

'Jawan,' starring Shah Rukh Khan, is one of the most awaited films of this year and speculations are rife that superstar Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in to portray the role of the antagonist in the film. 

A source has informed India Today that Vijay will join the film's sets in Mumbai for shooting and an announcement regarding the same will be made at the right time. Recently, there were reports that he is in talks to play one of the villains in Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa: The Rule.'

'Jawan,' written and directed by Atlee, also features Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles. It will release in theatres on June 2, 2023 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Vijay Sethupathi is currently enjoying the success of his recently released film ‘Vikram’, which features Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles.
