Shanaya Kapoor’s birthday: Maheep Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Navya Nanda and others drop heartfelt wishes

Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, has turned a year older today. She will soon be making her Bollywood debut with ‘Bedhadak’ under Dharma Productions banner. Shanaya’s parents and close friends, including actor Ananya Panday and Navya Naveli Nanda, have extended their warm wishes to her on social media.

Shanaya’s mother Maheep, who last featured on Netflix series ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’, took to Instagram and posted a video of her photoshoot with the song ‘Shine Bright Like a Diamond’ playing in the background. She wrote, ‘Happy birthday my love’. She also posted a video featuring a series of her childhood pictures, captioned ‘Best 23 yrs of my life’.

Shanaya’s father Sanjay Kapoor posted a series of throwback pictures and wrote, ‘Happy Birthday Shanaya. Love You.’

Her childhood best friend and actor Ananya Panday gave us a sneak peek into Shanaya’s birthday celebrations and wrote, ‘From cradle to grave–Shan and Anne, Anne and Shan. I love you, my sister. Happy Birthday. I hope all your wishes come true.’

Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of actor Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, wrote, ‘Happy Birthday grumpy!!!’

Shanaya shares her birthday with her best friend Suhana Khan’s father-actor Shah Rukh Khan.

Shanaya Kapoor started her career as an assistant director for the film ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, starring Janhvi Kapoor.
