Actor Taapsee Pannu is reportedly all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Mathias Boe in March. According to an NDTV report, the couple will get married in a Sikh-Christian ceremony which will take place in Udaipur. The wedding will reportedly be a private affair with no Bollywood A-listers in attendance.
Taapsee and Mathias have been in a relationship for over 10 years. Despite preferring to keep a low profile, the couple has never been secretive about their relationship.
In a recent interview, Taapsee opened up about her relationship and expressed how happy she has been. Speaking with Raj Shamani, Taapsee revealed that she met Mathias the year that she was making her debut film (2013’s Chashme Baddoor). ‘I have been with the same person since then and I have no thoughts of leaving him or being with anyone else because I am way too happy in the relationship,’ she said.
Taapsee spoke about the challenges actors face in finding genuine partners, noting the difficulty in assessing someone's sincerity. She was then asked whether co-actors develop feelings for each other due to their close proximity over extended periods of time.
She said, ‘Agar wo khaali hai hi nahi, if you’re too happy and satisfied with what you have already, to wo avenue khaali hi nahi hai ki koi aur aake bharega. Isliye that feeling is very subjective. (However, if one is in a fulfilling relationship, and are very satisfied and happy with what they already have, then that avenue is not empty for anyone to fill. So that feeling is very subjective)’
On the work front, Taapsee will be seen in the comedy-drama film, ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahan’. The movie, written and directed by Arshad Syed, will also star Prateik Babbar and Pratik Gandhi in the lead roles.
Besides that, the much-awaited sequel to ‘Haseen Dillruba’ is in the works. In ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba’, she will be sharing the screen with Vikrant Massey, Sunny Kaushal, and Jimmy Shergill.
