The 77th Cannes Film Festival begins in Cannes, France, on May 14. Several Indian films will be screened at the event. As per a recent Bombay Times report, Kiara Advani will represent India at the Red Sea Film Foundation's Women in Cinema Gala Dinner, hosted by Vanity Fair at Cannes.
The event honours six talented women worldwide for their contributions to the entertainment industry. Additionally, Variety announced 4-panel discussions on global incentives and filming at Cannes, scheduled for May 18, 2024, at La Plage Des Palmes. Kiara is slated to join the Red Sea International Film Festival panel.

Payal Kapadia's film ‘All We Imagine As Light’ has been chosen for the Main competition at Cannes 2024, making it the first Indian film in 30 years to compete for the Palme d'Or.
