The latest update on the 2024 BTS Festa is sure to excite fans! With daily announcements rolling out for the group's 11th debut anniversary on June 13, their label has unveiled the next highly anticipated reveal.

On June 3 (KST), BIGHIT Music announced Jungkook's upcoming solo release. The youngest BTS member will drop a single titled ‘Never Let Go’ on June 7, 2024, at 1 p.m. KST. The official statement confirmed that this fan anthem reinforces the ‘Standing Next to You’ singer's promise to never let go of his fans.

As a token of gratitude to BTS ARMYs worldwide for their unwavering support, Jungkook's upcoming song adds to his annual releases during BTS Festa celebrations.

In 2020, he dropped the record-breaking track ‘Still With You,’ which remains dear to his fans. Continuing this tradition, he released another Festa song in 2022, ‘My You.’ After this euphonic love letter to the ARMYs, the group announced its extended hiatus during the 2022 Festa. Two years later, while the members complete their military service, the ‘Seven’ singer is set to release another potential hit.

Jungkook and the other BTS members, Jin, RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, and V, are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service in South Korea, which requires all able-bodied men to enlist for 18 months before turning 28. Despite their service, some members have pursued solo projects, and the group plans to reunite for band activities in 2025.

Jin is set to return soon and BIGHIT Music has announced an exclusive ‘hugs event’ for June 13, where lucky fans can meet him in person.

However, this Festa schedule has sparked confusion and backlash. Many fans criticized the ‘money-hungry’ tactic used to select winners for the event and accused HYBE of tarnishing Jin's heartfelt idea by pushing for multiple album purchases. An updated schedule provides more clarity on the ‘album raffle’ criteria.
