BTS ARMY is on cloud nine since Jimin announced his second solo album ‘MUSE’. And even as the fans are excited for the upcoming album, eldest member Jin, who has recently returned after completing his military service, has teased new music.
Even before his military discharge, fans have been speculating about Jin’s possible collaboration with Coldplay, as its members have also been dropping some subtle hints. To add to the speculations, Jin took to the fan community platform Weverse and teased the fans. Replying to a fan’s post about Jimin’s upcoming album ‘MUSE’, Jin wrote, “Jimin, I’m next. I’m going to sing, too.” Jin’s comment has raised the anticipation about his solo album.
This is not the only exciting activity of BTS member on Weverse. He went on to accept bandmate J-Hope's proposal to debut as a subunit once the rapper returns from military. J-Hope had proposed Jin to debut as ‘Dischargedz’ duo. “Jin, would you do a ‘dischargedz’ duo,” J-Hope had quipped. Responding to his fellow bandmate, Jin accepted the invitation, and wrote, “Come on J-Hope, let’s make one.” The hilarious exchange left fans gushing and excited over the possibility of a sub-unit post J-Hope's discharge from military service.
BTS singer Jin recently returned after completing his mandatory military service. He hosted an in-person fan event, where he offered a free hug event for thousand lucky fans, on the BTS 11th debut anniversary. The singer also sang his hits and performed on Jungkook’s ‘Seven’.
On the musical front, Jin has been dropping hints of a new album for a while. ‘The Astronaut’ was his last song, which was released before his military enlistment. It was co-written by Coldplay. If rumours are to be believed, there might be another collaboration on the cards for Jin and Coldplay, as their upcoming album is titled ‘Moon Music’ and Jin is also called ‘Moon’ affectionately by his fans.
