SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’ has created history by becoming the first Indian film to win a Golden Globe. Ram Charan-Jr NTR starrer won for Best Original song at the ongoing ceremony for

‘Naatu Naatu,’ with music by M.M. Keeravani. The dance track has been sung by singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj.
It is the first ever Asian song to win a Golden Globe.

Congratulatory messages are pouring in for ‘RRR’ team on social media.

Elated ‘RRR’ actor Alia Bhatt took to Instagram story and shared a link of the announcement from ‘RRR’ official social media handle and added heart emojis.

Megastar Chiranjeevi called the win ‘phenomenal’ and a ‘historic achievement’

‘Golden Globes Best Original Song - Motion Picture Award to @mmkeeravaani garu !! Take a Bow! Heartiest Congratulations Team @RRRMovie &  @ssrajamouli !! India is proud of you! #NaatuNaatu,’ he tweeted.

Huma Qureshi congratulated the team and tweeted, ‘Anddddd it begins… #NaatuNaatu #RRR yaaay   #GoldenGlobes2023 @ssrajamouli @Shobu_@ssk1122 @AlwaysRamCharan @tarak9999.’

Nimrat Kaur is among others to congratulate ‘RRR’ team for the spectacular win.

The other nominees in the Best Original Song category were: “Carolina” – Where The Crawdads Sing, “Ciao Papa” – Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, “Hold My Hand” – Top Gun: Maverick, “Lift Me Up” – Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
