Sania Mirza caught the attention of social media earlier this week with her cryptic post. Many speculated that all is not well between Sania and her cricketer husband Shoaib Malik. Fans of both the tennis star and Pakistan cricketer were left shocked this morning as Shoaib announced the news of his wedding with actor Sana Javed along with some beautiful pictures.

While many fans were wondering whether Shoaib and Sania were already divorced; Indian tennis star’s father has clarified on the same.  “It was a ‘khula’, Sania Mirza’s father Imran Mirza told the news agency PTI. ‘Khula’ refers to the right of a Muslim woman to unilaterally divorce her husband.

Shoaib has married popular Pakistani TV actor Sana Javed in Karachi. The cricketer who is getting married for the third time, shared the pictures on his Instagram handle and wrote, “And We created you in pairs”.

Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza got married in Hyderabad in 2010. The couple has a five-year-old son named Izhaan who lived with Sania. Rumours have been doing rounds since 2022 that there are differences between Shoaib and Sania. Infact, Sania has deleted all the pictures with Shoaib while Shoaib unfollowed her recently.
