J&K Lieutenant Governor, ex-CM Omar Abdullah condemn killing of Kashmiri Pandit

Three days after a migrant worker was killed by terrorists in Kashmir's Bandipora district,  two Kashmiri Pandits, both brothers were attacked by militants on Tuesday in Shopian disctrict, killing one. 

The attack has again triggered outrage among people living in the valley

Political leaders across parties have also condemned the killings. 

Condemning the attack, National conference leader Omar Abdullabh in a tweet said, "I condemn the militant attack in Shopian unequivocally in which Sunil Kumar was killed and Pinto Kumar injured. My condolences to the family,"



Jammu and Kashmir governor Manoj Sinha in a tweet wrote, "Pained beyond words on the despicable terror attack on civilians in Shopian. My thoughts are with the family of Sunil Kumar.

Praying for a speedy recovery of the injured. The attack deserves the strongest condemnation from everyone. Terrorists responsible for the barbaric act will not be spared,".

 

BJP spokesman Altaf Thakur and People's conference chairman Sajad Gani Lone in a tweet also condemned Tuesday's act of violence.
