BJP leader Devaraje Gowda who allegedly JDS leader Prajwal Revanna's alleged sex videos was arrested in Karnataka's Chitradurga district on May 10. Police said that Gowda is accused of molestation and sexual harassment.
Earlier, the Special Investigation Team, which is investigating the Revanna sex scandal case, had asked Gowda to appear before it.
Gowda is said to have flagged the matter with the BJP central leadership in December last year.
Meanwhile, Prajwal is absconding and a 'blue corner' notice has been issued against him by the Interpol.
Several explicit videos involving Prajwal started making the rounds ahead of the first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka.
Three FIRs, including charges of rape, molestation, intimidation, blackmailing, and threatening, have been registered against him.
