Major drama broke out at the Bihar Assembly on March 31, with many Opposition legislators being carried out by marshals. At least 8 MLAs were reportedly evicted from the House, while they shouted slogans against 'gundagardi' (hooliganism), and 'tanashahi' (dictatorship).

Many of the MLAs reportedly belonged to the CPI-ML party. March 31 was reportedly the second straight day of disruptions in the Bihar Assembly, with the Opposition trying to corner the government over the law and order situation.

The Opposition has also attacked the government over Union minister Giriraj Singh's allegation of persecution of Hindus in his constituency of Begusarai.

The Assembly Speaker reportedly dismissed the adjournment motions, asking the MLAs to raise the issues at an appropriate time. When the Opposition MLAs reportedly entered the Well of the House to protest, they were evicted.
