It's a perfect recipe for a blockbuster! Viacom18 Studios and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions have teamed up for a theatrical, broadcast and streaming distribution deal.

Under the deal, the two entities will collaborate on a range of Bollywood films, which are expected to release over the next 18 – 24 months.

Films under the deal include big-ticket releases like

1. 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,' starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt along with Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.

2. 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo,' starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani.

3.  Shakun Batra’s untitled film starring Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi among others.

4.  Shashank Khaitan's next film 'Mr Lele', starring Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani in lead roles.

The Dharma-Viacom18 alliance comes after Dharma’s digital arm Dharmatic Entertainment exited a partnership with Netflix, signed in 2019.

Dharmatic will, however, continue to produce content which include new shows like "Finding Anamika", subsequent seasons of "Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives", which will both stream on Netflix.
