Madurai man's 'Shubh-arambh' after liquor shops re-open

Before every occasion an arti is performed to mark the start of beginning ‘shubh’ or auspicious.

Following the tradition, a man from Madurai devotedly performed arti of a liquor shop on Monday when the Tamil Nadu government allowed state-owned liquor shops to open.

In a viral video, the man can be seen hurrying to the liquor shop after a quick arti and rejoicing when he finally managed to get two bottles and bowed multiple times to the liquor he must have missed during the lockdown.

Netizens are in splits and called it one ‘true love’.
