The arrest of Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the Mumbai drugs on cruise case, has once again brought the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) under the spotlight. Aryan Khan and with 2 others have been sent to custody till October 7 for possession of banned narcotics and substance abuse among others.

But questions have been raised in particular over the arrest and custody of Aryan Khan, despite no drugs found on him during Saturday’s raid. The NCB recovered 11 grams of charas from the remaining two accused, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha.

NCB Zonal Director, Sameer Wankhede has rubbished all reports that the probe agency is particularly 'targeting' Bollywood. He said, the NCB is not targeting anyone at all, and they have nothing against Aryan Khan.

Wankhede added that the NCB has arrested more than 300 people in the last 10 months, and most of those who were arrested in the last one year are hard-core, drug related criminals.

He went on to say, that the NCB’s main agenda is to dismantle organised drug syndicates and they are moving in that direction. He also said that "shaming" Bollywood is not the NCB’s agenda, but added that anyone found on the wrong side of law won’t be spared.
