'Pippa' first look: presenting Ishaan Khatter as Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta

The makers of upcoming war drama 'Pippa' have shared the first look of the film, and Ishan Khatter fans are in awe of the star. Fans get to see clean-shaven Ishaan in a battle tank, and his fierce look is definitely intriguing, leaving us wanting for more.

In 'Pippa', Ishaan plays Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, a former soldier of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron, who fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, 'Pippa' is inspired by the book 'The Burning Chaffees', written by Brigadier Mehta himself.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s company RSVP and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s Roy Kapur Films, 'Pippa' also stars Mrunal Thakur as Ishaan’s younger sister and Soni Razdan, who will play the role of his mother.

As Ishan Khatter kicked off the first schedule of 'Pippa' in Amritsar on Wednesday,  Brigadier Mehta gave the first clap on set.
