The Rajasthan government has said that the state will run out of coronavirus vaccines by Wednesday if the Centre does not urgently send more supplies, NDTV has reported.
Further, the state has slowed down the pace of the vaccination drive by giving doses to only those who require to get their second shot administered on Tuesday. The state's Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma sent an SOS message to the centre, asking for an urgent supply. The Centre has, however, denied the state's claim saying that Rajasthan has 37.61 lakh doses & has consumed only 24.28 lakh doses till Monday night.
