Murderer ex-MP Anand Mohan released from Saharsa jail

Former MP Anand Mohan Singh, who murdered an IAS officer, was released from jail on April 27, 2023, as per news agency ANI.
Singh was serving life imprisonment for killing the Gopalganj DM in 1994.
He was released from Saharsa prison days after the Bihar government amended its jail rules.
