Gearing up for Prime Video’s Indian series ‘Citadel’, Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, have been busy promoting their upcoming show. A video from the Prime Video event in Mumbai, where the two actors were present to promote their show, has gone viral on social media.
Varun Dhawan, who made his acting debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of The Year’ showed his love and respect for the filmmaker by touching his feet on stage. Following Varun’s footsteps, Samantha also bowed to touch Karan’s feet. Completely taken aback, KJo refused Samantha to do so. Adding humour to the situation, Varun Dhawan said, “I feel everyone should touch Karan’s feet.” To this Karan said, “I don’t want to be aged here please. I am finally over my midlife crisis. I don’t want you to put me in my place, please.”
Varun Dhawan was quick to respond with another humorous comment and said, “I don’t think you all realise how old Karan is because he does a great job with his dermatologist.” Karan responded in his signature sarcastic style by saying, “There are lots of people who have done jobs on their faces, I am not one of them.”
Varun and Samantha will soon share the screen in the Indian adaptation of the American TV series Citadel titled ‘Citadel: Honey bunny’. The show will also feature Sikandar Kher, Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem and Emma Canning.
