Amitabh Bachchan trends on X as fans get emotional over his teary-eyed goodbye on KBC 15

Megastar of the century, Amitabh Bachchan is one actor who has remained popular among the people through the decades. Once again, it was proven that Big B’s popularity knows no bound. As Mr Bachchan gave his emotional farewell speech at KBC 15, the emotions transcended from screens to the fans. Big B bid adieu to ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’ on Friday. He got emotional and teary-eyed as he delivered his final ‘Shubhraatri’ to wrap the last episode of this season.  

SonyLiv shared a promo of the final episode which soon went viral. In the promo, Bachchan said,  “Main Amitabh Bachchan iss daur ke liye, iss manch se akhri baar kehne jaa raha hu, Shubraatri (For the last time I am bidding you all goodbye from this show. Goodnight)."

Social media platforms were flooded by the posts mentioning Amitabh Bachchan and soon, his name was trending on the internet. Fans went into frenzy wondering whether it is the last episode of this season or Big B’s retirement from the popular quiz show. There were several comments of fans saying that they will miss watching Big B, while others wrote that they are eagerly waiting for a brand new season.  

The final episode was a star-studded affair with Sharmila Tagore, Vidya Balan and Sara Ali Khan as celebrity guests. Sharmila Tagore and Vidya Balan shared some anecdotes, while Sara recounted her childhood memories on the show. Amitabh Bachchan also shared some memories from his college days.
