      85% Indian employers optimistic of AI creating new job roles in 1-5 years: Indeed Survey

      AI Jobs: Indeed's global survey on employment has revealed some fascinating insights of Artificial Intelligence's influence on employment. As per the report, about 85% of Indian employers are expecting Artificial Intelligence to generate new employement opportunities in next 1-5 years.

      Employers-Job Seekers Dynamics

      The report highlighted the evolving dynamics between employers, job seekers, and AI while shedding light on their expectations, concerns, and the current applications of AI in recruitment. The Zest over AI is due to the belief carried by Employers and Job seekers.

      About 63% of the job seekers are excited about the potential impact of AI, and 53% believe that AI has the potential to create more jobs

      According to the report 86% of the Job seekers believe that AI can enhance work productivity and manageability, 85% feel AI can aid job seekers in acquiring or improving their skills. Meanwhile 47% think that AI can enable jobseekers to focus on more complex, significant tasks and 43% believe it can Facilitate hiring based on skills and potential rather than just experience.

      "This new survey brings encouraging news that jobseekers are not only aware of the promise of AI but are also excited about its potential. It demonstrates that job seekers are ready to embrace AI as a force for positive change in their careers. However, employers must work together to devise frameworks that allow the effective use of in order to facilitate technological advancement”, said Sashi Kumar, Head of Sales at Indeed India.

      Recruitment Transformation

      90% of the HR and Talent Acquisition believed that AI systems and tools will make their jobs easier, and 86% are confident that AI can enhance the hiring and candidate experience. Meanwhile, 81% are optimistic that AI tools will allow them to focus on the more 'human' aspects of their roles.

      Meanwhile, 50% of the job seekers have expressed concerns about AI replacing human judgment and intuition in hiring decisions.

      AI Concerns

      Job seekers are also concerned about Artificial Intelligence about which, 43% are concerned about reskilling or upskilling, 29% fear potential job losses in their industry or profession and 20% are worried about ethical considerations.
