Medak District Educational Officer has reportedly served a show cause notice to a hostel caretaker and a Special Officer.
In addition to triggering a health emergency, the incident also fetched an angry reaction from the student's parents. India Today reported that parents reached out to the school and demanded "strict hygiene measures" in the kitchens of TG Model School.

In an incredibly bizarre news, a robot employed by a government firm in South Korea has, believe it or not, &lsquo;died by suicide&rsquo;.
The unnamed robot was discovered unresponsive after apparently throwing itself down a flight of stairs, according to a report by The Daily Mail on June 26.
The &lsquo;Robot Supervisor&rsquo;, appointed in August 2023, was found smashed and lying in the stairwell between the first and second floors of the Gumi City Council building.
Manufactured by Bear Robotics, a Californian startup specialising in robot waiters, the robot worked from 9 am to 6 pm and had its own civil service officer card, as reported by The Daily Mail.
The incident occurred on June 20, 2024, according to the report.

The visuals of Fire Force personnel pulling them to safety from the overflowing river in Pallanchi on Thursday went viral on social media platforms on Sunday.

Two youths, who were on their way to a hospital using Google Maps to find their way, drove their car into a swollen river but had a miraculous escape as the vehicle got stuck to a tree in Kerala's northernmost Kasaragod district.
The visuals of Fire Force personnel pulling them to safety from the overflowing river in Pallanchi here the other day went viral on social media platforms on Sunday.
They could escape and contact the Fire Force personnel only because their vehicle, which was carried away by the water currents, got stuck in a tree.
The rescued youths said they were on their way to a hospital in neighbouring Karnataka in the wee hours the other day and were proceeding using Google Maps.
Abdul Rasheed, one of the youths, said Google Maps showed a narrow road and they drove their car through it.
"Using the vehicle's headlight, we felt that there was some water in front of us. But, we didn't see that there was a river on both sides and a bridge in the middle. There was also no sidewall for the bridge," he told a TV channel.
The car suddenly began to get carried away in the water currents but later got stuck in a tree on the shores of the river.
By this time, they managed to open the car door, come out of the vehicle and contacted the Fire Force personnel by sending them the location.
Later, Fire Force personnel rushed to the place and pulled out the two men to safety using ropes.
"We never thought that we could come back to life. We truly feel that it is a rebirth," Rasheed added.
Last month, a group of tourists from Hyderabad drove into a swollen stream near Kuruppanthara in Kottayam apparently after using Google Maps.
All four managed to escape unharmed due to the efforts of a nearby police patrol unit and local residents, but their vehicle was completely submerged.

The word that was trending on X after the assassination attempt was 'Staged'. Well, this very word has become synonymous with conspiracy theories on social media. It is often used to cast doubts on shooting or attacks.&nbsp;
The conspiracy theories began with questions like 'How did the attacker made its way to the roof? Why were they not stopped?'&nbsp;
Soon after this, people started calling the attack staged without any evidence. Some of the social media users said the attack looked staged. One of the internet users wrote on X, "No way they missed with that many shots and just nicked his ear? And then the fist pump and all the pictures of him with the flag. This is propaganda."

Paris which is also known as the city of light is facing a pooping problem ahead of Olympics. Paris's river Seine is going to play a crucial role in the Summer Olympics as the triathlon-race, which consists of a 1500m swim will take place in this very river.&nbsp;
River Seine is still not safe for swimming on most days due to high levels of E. Coli bacteria in the water, potentially exposing athletes to serious health risks. Notably, swimming in Seine has been illegal for more than 100 years due to the river's pollution levels.&nbsp;
But, what is contributing to Seine's river pollution? Well, one of the major factor is sewage. Earlier, in the 80s, the sewage system in Paris used to dump the the sewage into the Seine. Later on, Paris had a combined sewer system, which is underground and operates well.&nbsp;
However, it has some flaws which can affect the Olympics as the pipes that carry sewage away from homes and businesses are the same ones used for stormwater. The system is big enough &nbsp;to effectively transport wastewater to treatment plants, where it&rsquo;s cleaned. But during heavy rains, sewage and stormwater overwhelm the system and then the excess sewage and water flows into the Seine.&nbsp;
The open water swimming, which is a part of the triathlon is set to take place on 30, 31st of July and on 5th of August. In order for this triathlon to take place in the river, water tests should be submitted no more than 48 hours prior to the competition.&nbsp;
And, in the water sample, the E. coli cannot exceed more than 1000 cfu.&nbsp;
What is E. coli?
E. coli is a bacteria that is found in intestines of people and warm-blooded animals. The presence of E. coli in a drinking water sample almost always indicates recent fecal contamination, which can make a person sick, like quite sick!
Tests of the river water that was taken four months ahead of the Olympics showed that the Seine was unsafe for the triathlon because of the E.coli levels.&nbsp;
Paris is now banking on warm, dry weather to keep the river clean. Paris' Mayor Anne Hidalgo even said that she would swim in Seine right before the Olympics, in a bid to show its suitability for the upcoming game amid the ongoing cleanliness concerns.&nbsp;

Hyderabad: youth duped of Rs 12 lakh after sharing Aadhaar details in FedEx scam

The victim received a call from a person impersonating a FedEx and told him that his Adhaar number is being misused to send a courier carrying diabetes pills and fifty grams of MDMA, from Mumbai to Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, FedEx has come out with an official statement clarifying that the delivery company doesn't ask people for their personal information.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Amid the growing cyber fraud in India, scammers are becoming more creative in coercing people to share their Adhaar numbers and other valuable documents.
A bizarre incident of a similar fashion has emerged from Hyderabad where a 23-year-old man was recently duped of ₹ 12 Lakh. The victim received a call from a person impersonating a FedEx and told him that his Adhaar number is being misused, Hindustan Times reported. The man was told that someone was sending a courier carrying diabetes pills and fifty grams of MDMA, from Mumbai to Saudi Arabia, using his Adhar number. Subsequently, the scammer pretended to be calling from Mumbai Cyber Crime branch and threatened the victim. The scamesters later made a Skype video conference and demanded money transfer in order to verify his details.&nbsp; Reportedly, the man was asked to cooperate in the investigation to prove his innocence and was coerced to send money for the investigation. A case has been filed in the Hyderabad Cyber Crimes police department.
Meanwhile, FedEx has come out with an official statement clarifying that the delivery company doesn't ask people for their personal information.&nbsp;&nbsp;
"FedEx does not request personal information through unsolicited phone calls, mail, or email for goods being shipped or held, unless requested or initiated by customers. If any individual receives any suspicious phone calls or messages, they are advised not to provide their personal information. Instead, they should immediately contact the local law enforcement authorities within the vicinity or report to the cybercrime department of the government of India."
