First of its kind support coming from India Inc for PM Modi's controversial 'Agnipath Recuritement Scheme' as Anand Mahindra took to social media to not only back the scheme but also opens the doors for employment for Agniveers.

The Mahindra group chief tweeted "Saddened by the violence around the #Agneepath program. When the scheme was mooted last year I stated-& I repeat-the discipline & skills Agniveers gain will make them eminently employable. The Mahindra Group welcomes the opportunity to recruit such trained, capable young people"

When asked by a netizen"What post will be given by the Mahindra group to Agniveer?" Anand Mahindra replied that there is a "Large potential for employment of Agniveers in the Corporate Sector.
