      Tech jobs have been among the highest-paying, but big tech firms like Google, Meta, Adobe salaries for engineers are at another level.

      Recently leaked internal data from Google, reviewed by Business Insider, sheds light on the impressive compensation packages their employees received in 2022. The median total compensation for Google employees that year reached $2,79,802 (Rs 2.30 crore).

      Unsurprisingly, software engineers emerged as the highest-paid professionals at Google, boasting a maximum base salary of $7,18,000 (Rs 5.89 cr) in 2022.

      Top 10 Highest Base Salaries at Google in 2022:

      1. Software engineer: $718,000

      2. Engineering manager (software engineering): $400,000

      3. Enterprise direct sales: $377,000

      4. Legal corporate counsel: $320,000

      5. Sales strategy: $320,000

      6. UX design: $315,000

      7. Government affairs & public policy: $312,000

      8. Research scientist: $309,000

      9. Cloud sales: $302,000

      10. Program manager: $300,000

      Comparing Google's salary offerings to other tech giants in 2022, the company's median base pay was slightly below that of Meta ($2,96,320).

      Nevertheless, it significantly outpaced the median base salaries at Salesforce ($1,99,130) and Adobe ($1,70,679), as reported by data collected by MyLogIQ and analysed by The Wall Street Journal.
