National Cinema Day 2023: The Multiplex Association of India has declared that National Cinema Day 2023 will light up screens across India on October 13 this year. This event promises movie enthusiasts an affordable treat as tickets will be available at an enticing ₹99, offering a golden opportunity to indulge in their favourite films.

Why to Celebrate National Cinema Day?

In 2022, MAI initiated the National Cinema Day celebrations, marking a significant moment for Indian cinema. Initially scheduled for September 16, the event was moved to September 23. Last year’s celebration witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 6.5 million attendees flocking to theatres, making it the highest-attended day of the year for the Indian cinema industry.

This year, more than 4,000 screens in multiplexes across India, including major chains like PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Miraj, and Delite, are joining forces to make National Cinema Day 2023 unforgettable. The occasion aims to unite audiences of all ages for a day of cinematic delight, celebrating the triumph of numerous films at the box office this year.
