The first female, first Asian, and the youngest-ever CHRO of Unilever (soon to take over Chanel as CEO) Leena started her career as a management trainee at Hindustan Lever in 1992, says her big realisation during the pandemic was that while people were facing the same storm, they were not all in the same boat. "We couldn't take a one-size-fits-all approach," she says

Nair says ''moving globally has taught her a whole new skill set, and she has learnt to be a global citizen in every sense of the word''. The pandemic, she says, has helped her understand the truly global nature of her job.
