There is a big update for the fans of DC films. The first look of James Gunn directorial, ‘Superman’ is out and shared by the director on social media. ‘Superman’, one of the most loved superheroes has a new face.

James Gunn debuts new ‘Superman’

James Gunn, the CEO of DC Studios, unveiled the first picture if new ‘Superman’. The picture features actor David Corenswet as the iconic superhero. Corenswet is seen wearing the blue suit with the ‘S’ emblem etched on the chest. Red boots and a red cape complete his suit. He looks ready for action as he is seen fixing his boots with an intense look. “Get ready. #Superman 7.11.25,” Gunn captioned the picture.

Dressed in the ‘Superman’ suit, the ‘Man of Steel’ has left the Internet divided. Fans flooded the comment section sharing their reactions to the new ‘Superman’. While one section is excited to watch the new ‘Superman’ in action, some were not satisfied with the first look.

‘Superman’ is set to premiere on July 11, 2025 and will be the first film of revamped DC cinematic universe. The film is written and directed by James Gunn and produced by Peter Safran.
