      Comedian Kevin Brennan faces backlash as he mocks Matthew Perry’s death: ‘I do love it when junkies die’

      As the world mourns the loss of ‘Friends’ star Matthew Perry aka Chandler Bing, one tweet mocking his death has sparked massive outrage. Former ‘Saturday Night Live’ writer and comedian Kevin Brennan is facing backlash as he made distasteful remarks over the actor’s death on X, formerly known as Twitter.

      Kevin, who is now known for his podcast ‘The MLC Podcast’, shared a TMZ article about Matthew Perry’s death and commented, ‘Drowned in a hot tub, hahahaha’.

      Several people slammed the comedian and expressed their disappointment over his insensitive remark. A tweet read, ‘I will never understand the mindset of someone who posts shit like this. I wish you well bc you must be sick’. He commented ‘Thank You’

      Later on, he shared a TMZ article that covered his insensitivity, and wrote, ‘I didn’t mock it. I just thought it was funny. But I do love it when junkies die.’

      To one of the readers who said ‘remind me to laugh when it’s your turn', he commented, ‘I’ll probably forget’.

      From Kevin’s tweets, it appears that he was enjoying all the unwanted attention he was getting for his ugly mindset.

      He made things worse by commenting on a user's question on ‘why drowning in a hot tub was funny’, he stated ‘Because it’s not very deep.’

      About Matthew Perry’s death

      The actor, who played Chandler Bing in ‘Friends’, was found dead at his Los Angeles apartment. The reason for his death is said to be drowning.

      According to a TMZ report, the statements of law enforcement sources say that many prescribed medications and drugs, including anti-depression and anti-anxiety, were found at the actor’s residence. However, there's no evidence of any illegal drugs.
