Jeremy Renner celebrates birthday in the hospital, grateful to ICU team for 'beginning this journey'

Marvel actor Jeremy Renner, who recently met with a snowplough accident, continues to recover in the hospital. He celebrated his 52nd birthday on Saturday and shared a picture of himself from the hospital on Instagram Stories in which he is seen posing with his family members and staff.

'Thank you renowned medical ICU team for beginning this journey, ' he wrote.

Renner, who is best known as superhero Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was hospitalised last weekend. According to the local police he was helping a family member free a car from heavy snow when was accidentally run over by his own ploughing machine. He suffered 'blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries' his publicist told PA news agency.
Renner is constantly sharing health updates on social media.

Meanwhile, actor Anil Kapoor took to social media to wish Renner on his birthday. He shared pictures from the Hollywood star's visit to India last year along with a sweet note. He wrote, ‘Happy Birthday #jeremyrenner! Sending you all our best wishes for a full and swift recovery. We love you and can't wait to see you up and at it again!’
