BTS Jin drops ‘I’ll be there’ from new album, set to hold special event in Seoul 

<p>Jin has dropped his new single 'I'll be There' with a captivating music video. The BTS star also announced a special two-day event on November 16-17, a day after the release of his first solo album 'Happy'.&nbsp;</p>

<p>BTS singer Jin is on a roll. The K-pop star has been relentlessly working since his military discharge and is all set to release his first solo album. Jin will be celebrating the big milestone of his career with his fans by holding a two-day special event.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The two-day event will be held on November 16-17 after the release of his album on November 15. The &lsquo;Happy Special Stage Live&rsquo; event will take place at the Jangchung Area in Seoul. There will be exclusive premiere of the songs as well as behind-the-scenes details of the making of Jin&rsquo;s new album. The announcement about Jin&rsquo;s special celebratory event was made on Weverse.</p>
<p>Ahead of Jin&rsquo;s first album release, &lsquo;I&rsquo;ll be There&rsquo; has been released today with a music video. The eldest BTS member promises to be there for the fans and assures that he willl sing forever for his fans in the song. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Jin is the only member who has not released a solo album. Titled &lsquo;Happy&rsquo;, the album consists of six tracks including &lsquo;I&rsquo;ll be There&rsquo; and title track &lsquo;Running Wild&rsquo;. Ahead of his new album release, Jin also made his fans &lsquo;happy&rsquo; by releasing an extended version of his superhit song &lsquo;Super Tuna&rsquo; on October 11. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The worldwide handsome singer completed his mandatory military service on June 12, 2024. He held a special hug event for 1000 lucky fans a day later. Since then, the singer has been continuously busy with appearances at different events including Paris Olympics, Milan Fashion Week and several variety shows. Jin has also started his own variety show &lsquo;Run Jin&rsquo;. &nbsp;</p>

On October 20, a group of haters, also called anti-fans sent around 100 funeral wreaths with malicious comments written on them to HYBE headquarters and demanded the exit of BTS star from the group. &nbsp;</p>
<p>As soon as the pictures surfaced on the internet, BTS fans aka ARMY gathered outside HYBE office to show their support for Suga and counter the haters. ARMY brought out banners with supportive messages and chanted slogans to show love for their K-pop idol.</p>

<p>Reports reveal that in 2022, Jimin lent Lee Jin Ho ₩100 million KRW after learning about the comedian&rsquo;s urgent financial difficulties.</p>
<p>Recently, Lee Jin Ho confessed to struggling with a severe gambling addiction, admitting that he used the money from Jimin to support this harmful habit. He also disclosed that he had borrowed money from various other celebrities, fabricating false stories about tax troubles and family issues to secure the loans. This shocking revelation quickly spread online, generating both public outrage and sympathy for Jimin, who is currently serving in the military.</p>
<p>Jimin wasn't the only victim of Lee Jin Ho's deceit; other stars, including Lee Soo Geun and Ha Sung Woon, were also drawn into the scam. Despite being swindled, Jimin showed remarkable generosity, allowing Lee Jin Ho ten years to repay the ₩100 million KRW loan.</p>
<p>On October 14, Lee Jin Ho posted a lengthy message confessing to his financial troubles and gambling addiction. His heartfelt note read, &lsquo;Hello, I am Lee Jin Ho. I want to open up about a shameful chapter of my life due to my poor decisions. I began engaging in illegal online gambling in 2020, which resulted in significant debt. After receiving tough advice from friends and realizing the threat to my career, I finally understood the seriousness of the situation and managed to stop gambling.&rsquo;</p>

<p><br>Hybe, the parent company of BTS' label BigHit Music, confirmed the exciting news on Tuesday. J-Hope himself shared the announcement on Instagram, stirring up excitement among his fans.</p>
<p>The tour will kick off in Seoul with three nights of performances, followed by a much-awaited North American leg. The U.S. leg will begin on March 13, with two shows at the Barclays Center in New York. J-Hope will then head to Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, and Oakland, wrapping up in Los Angeles at BMO Stadium. This final stop is particularly historic as it will mark the first time a Korean solo artist has headlined a U.S. stadium, according to The Hollywood Reporter.</p>
<p>The tour will continue across Asia, with stops in the Philippines and Singapore, among others. Further cities will be announced in due course. While this is J-Hope's first official solo tour, he is no stranger to solo performances. In 2022, he became the first Korean artist to headline the iconic Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.</p>
<p>J-Hope&rsquo;s dedicated fans, known as ARMY, will also have the opportunity to enjoy live-streamed performances from Seoul&rsquo;s leg of the tour, available on Hybe's fan platform, Weverse. It's still unclear whether other stops will be live-streamed.</p>
<p>The "Hope on the Stage" tour is a major milestone for BTS members as they continue with their solo projects following mandatory military service. J-Hope is the second BTS member to return from service after Jin, the eldest member, who returned in June 2024. The group is expected to reunite later this year when all members have completed their service.</p>
<p>Pre-sale tickets for the tour will be available to official ARMY fan club members starting January 22, with general sales beginning the next day, January 23. Ticket details for the Los Angeles show will be announced at a later date, due to ongoing wildfires in the region.</p>

<p>As J-Hope became the second member of BTS to complete his mandatory military service in October 2024, fans grew closer to the long-awaited reunion of the popular K-pop group. However, a recent report from allkpop.com suggests that the reunion might take a little longer than expected.</p>
<p>During HYBE&rsquo;s Q3 earnings call on November 5, CFO Lee Kyung Joon shared some details about the group&rsquo;s future.</p>
<p>&lsquo;We are currently in discussions with the members about activities in 2026,&rsquo; he said. While a full group comeback would undoubtedly generate substantial revenue, Lee noted that the band's reunion might not contribute as much to the company&rsquo;s earnings as in the past, as other artists and new ventures are also driving growth for the label.</p>
<p>BTS temporarily disbanded in 2022 due to the mandatory military service of its eldest member, Jin. HYBE had originally announced that the group would reunite after all members completed their service by 2025.</p>

<p>To date, Jin and J-Hope have finished their military duties, with the rest of the group scheduled to complete their service by June 2025. However, HYBE&rsquo;s latest comments suggest that a full reunion of BTS may not happen until 2026.</p>
<p>The seven members of BTS have been on hiatus since 2022 due to South Korea&rsquo;s mandatory military service, a requirement for all South Korean men under 30, owing to the country&rsquo;s ongoing tensions with North Korea. J-Hope completed his 18-month military service in October and praised the sacrifice of soldiers who work to ensure the country&rsquo;s safety. Jin finished his service in June, and the remaining members will follow suit next year.</p>
<p>Despite the delay in a full group comeback, individual members continue to release solo projects. Jin, for example, is set to drop his first solo album this November. Another challenge to the reunion comes from member Suga, who faced controversy earlier this year after a drunk e-scooter incident in Seoul, which led to a significant drop in HYBE&rsquo;s stock price.</p>

<p>Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, who has been in the headlines for her ongoing feud with HYBE, made some claims in a recent interview. The producer behind NewJeans claimed that BTS member V has been in touch with her despite his military service and busy schedule. &nbsp;</p>
<p>While speaking to music critic Kim Young Dae, Min Hee Jin said that V sometimes calls her from the military. She claimed that while she is going through difficult times, V has been checking upon her and asking whether she is okay. She further claimed that V had sent her a congratulatory message on her birthday.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Following her revelation, a person has reportedly filed a complaint with the Ministry of National Defense against V. The person said that Min Hee Jin&rsquo;s birthday was on December 16 and that would mean that V texted her five days after military enlistment. The complainant called this a violation of military law and demanded a thorough investigation. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The complainant is allegedly a LE SSERAFIM fan and has been posting articles defending HYBE and criticising NewJeans and Min Hee Jin.
