After casting his vote, Padma Vibhushan awardee Chiranjeevi spoke with the press and urged his fans to step out and vote. 'I do request them (young voters) to make use of your power of vote. Voting is our right,’ he said.

Padma Vibhushan awardee Chiranjeevi casts his vote at a polling booth in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, on May 13. The megastar was accompanied by his wife Surekha Konidela. They were seen patiently waiting in the queue to fulfil their electoral responsibilities.

After casting his vote, the actor spoke with the press and urged his fans to step out and vote.

‘So I would like to say, every time I have been saying, this time also (I say), new emerging waters are coming up. I do request them (young voters) to make use of your power of vote. Voting is our right,’ he said.

While heading to his car, a journalist asked Chiranjeevi about his brother, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, who is contesting from the Pithapuram Assembly in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

‘My best wishes to him,’ said Chiranjeevi.

Actor, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan was seen at a polling booth in Mangalagiri to cast his vote.

Earlier, Allu Arjun and Jr NTR were also spotted casting their votes. The ‘RRR’ star flaunted his inked finger and said, ‘Everybody has to use the right of their vote. I think it is a good message which we need to pass on to the coming generations.’

The ‘Pushpa 2’ star also urged fans to step out and vote. ‘It’s a very responsible day for us as all of us, for the citizens of this country. I know its quite hot but let’s put that little effort because today is the most crucial day for next five years of our lives. Please cast your vote and vote responsibly,’ he said.

‘There will be a huge voter turnout, as more and more people are coming out to vote…I would like to tell, I am not politically aligned with any party. I am neutral to all parties,’ he added.
