Ahead of the Academy Awards next month, the annual Oscar nominees luncheon was held in Los Angeles on Monday. At this event, nominees get a chance to interact with each other, with the highlight being a ‘class photo’ of all of them together.

‘RRR’ music composer MM Keeravani arrived at the luncheon with ‘Naatu Naatu’ lyricist Chandrabose. ‘All That Breathes’ director Shaunak Sen was seen interacting with ‘Banshees of Inisherin’ actor Colin Farrell.

Photos from the luncheon have been shared by New York Times reporter kyle Buchanan on Twitter. In the ‘class photo’, Sen, whose film has been nominated in Best Documentary Feature category, was seated close to Tom Cruise, who is nominated in the Best Picture category for ‘Top Gun: Maverick’. .

‘RRR’s official Twitter handle shared pictures of Keeravani and Chandrabose, with the caption ‘The Naatu Naatu duo.’

Chandrabose also took to Twitter to share an image of himself along with ace director Steven Spielberg and Keeravani. His caption read, ‘With the master Steven Spielberg.’

Guneet Monga, producer of ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ and director of the documentary Kartiki Gonsalves, were also pictured at the annual event. Their film is nominated for Best Documentary Short.

Some Hollywood veterans as well as some fresh faces were seen at this year's luncheon. Multiple-time nominees such as Tom Cruise, Michelle Williams, Sarah Polley, Rian Johnson, Mary Zophres and Diane Warren and first-time nominees Brandon Fraser, Hong Chau, Austin Butler, Ke Huy Quan and Paul Mescal attended the event.
