Riteish Deshmukh recently took to Instagram to reveal his intense first-look poster from the much-anticipated film, Raid 2, directed by Rajkumar Gupta.

In this gripping sequel, Riteish stars as the antagonist, a formidable politician named Dada Bhai, facing off against Ajay Devgn's character.

The powerful poster showcases Riteish Deshmukh in a striking pose, his fist raised defiantly in the air. Clad in traditional kurta-pajama and a Nehru jacket, he sports a rugged beard that enhances his fierce persona, further emphasized by the fire in his eyes. Behind him, a large crowd rallies, brandishing flags of the "Gareeb Jan Party."

Captioning the post, Riteish wrote, "Kanoon ka mohtaj nahi, kanoon ka malik hai Dada Bhai! #Raid2 knocking in cinemas near you from 1st May." The post received an outpour of support from the film industry. Riteish's brother-in-law, Nigel D'Souza, commented, "All the best Daaji," while actor Kapil Honrao noted, "Awesome look sir .. it's going crazy." Actor Navdeep Tomar added, "Zabardast lag rahe ho bhaiyaaaa," and Raja Bherwani declared, "Mindblowing, Ritzzzz...all the best."

Earlier this week, the film's creators released a fiery poster featuring Ajay Devgn, reprising his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik. The poster positions Ajay amidst towering stacks of files, embodying a relentless pursuit of justice that promises yet another riveting performance. The accompanying message teased, "Naya shehar. Nayi file. Aur Amay Patnaik ki ek nayi raid. #Raid2 knocking at your doors in cinemas near you on May 1, 2025."

The original Raid film, which premiered in 2018, was a critical and commercial success, inspired by a real-life Income Tax raid from the 1980s. It featured commendable performances from a cast that included Saurabh Shukla and Ileana D'Cruz.

Raid 2 is set to expand the franchise, introducing Vaani Kapoor and Rajat Kapoor in prominent roles. The film is slated for a theatrical release on May 1, 2025. Keep an eye out for what promises to be another exhilarating chapter in this thrilling series.
