During an appearance on the show "Khane Mein Kya Hai," Azmi shared an amusing incident involving a 20-year-old crew member who failed to recognize her. "A young girl looked at the guest list, pointed at me, and asked, 'Who are you?' which left my co-stars in shock," Azmi recounted.
The girl mistook her for Shibani Dandekar, much to the surprise of Anjali Anand, Azmi's 'Dabba Cartel' co-star.
Interestingly, the crew member was also unaware of renowned producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Azmi and Anand previously appeared in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani,' although their on-screen interaction was limited. The film starred Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in prominent roles.
At the 'Dabba Cartel' trailer launch, Azmi made a candid admission about initially opposing the inclusion of actress Jyotika in the series. "I have a confession to make," Azmi revealed. "There are two actresses I wanted to replace. One is Jyotika. She wasn't aware, but I suggested casting someone else to Farhan and Shibani."
Directed by Hitesh Bhatia, 'Dabba Cartel' boasts an ensemble cast, including Gajraj Rao, Jyotika, Nimisha Sajayan, Shalini Pandey, Anjali Anand, Sai Tamhankar, Jisshu Sengupta, Lillete Dubey, and Bhupendra Singh Jadawat in significant roles.

At the trailer launch event of filmmaker Vikram Bhatt's new film "Tumko Meri Kasam", the cinema icon praised the director for his decision to explore a deeply personal story about a real person rather than relying on the familiar horror format.
"It is a mystery in itself that, in this industry, redefining and reinventing yourself again and again is not an easy thing to do. To be here for 35 years and to move from the idiom which the market has acknowledged you for which is horror and to come into an intimate space where the heart beats, the soul cries, and to pull out the story from the life of a living person is a challenge," Mahesh Bhatt told reporters.
"In these times, where intimate cinema is almost extinct... I don't think there are many people who make films like this. So I think in this age and time, had the courage, the audacity to back a story of a man who himself has been audacious," he added.
Starring an ensemble cast of Anupam Kher, Adah Sharma, Ishwak Singh, and Esha Deol, "Tumko Meri Kasam" is loosely based on the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia, the founder of Indira IVF, a chain of fertility clinics.
Vikram Bhatt, known for horror movies such as the "Raaz" franchise, "1920", "Haunted &ndash; 3D", and "Shaapit", has directed the film from a script he wrote.
"I think such stories are rare to find in this sensation-seeking age. To find a filmmaker who feels very comfortable in the horror medium, and he says, 'No, let me let go of my crutches and let me dive into that place where people come to experience movies.'
"In the darkness of an auditorium, people want to see a journey into the human heart. And I think 'Tumko Meri Kasam' is an explosion for Vikram Bhatt. Normally, people rise; I think he explodes, and that's why I'm here," Mahesh Bhatt said.
Vikram Bhatt credited Mahesh Bhatt for backing him even after some of his films didn't do well commercially.
"He's my father, my mentor, my guide. He's everything. I wouldn't be here after so many flops if it were not for him,&rdquo; he said.
Singh, who rose to fame with OTT series like "Paatal Lok" and "Rocket Boys", recalled a story from his theatre days in Mumbai.
"He was promoting and supporting theater back in the day when I was just finding my feet on stage. And after the third show of a play, he gave me a pat on the back and said some words of encouragement. And that's the day I decided, &lsquo;I'm going to do this professionally.&rsquo; So, this is a surreal feeling," he said.
Kher wondered why Vikram Bhatt took more than twenty years to cast him in a film.
"I always wanted to work with Vikram. He made many films but never cast me. But I think he was waiting for a great story to justify me being in his film. Dr. Ajay Murdia's story was inspiring not only for the families he helped but also for anybody who helps in giving life to life," he said.
Deol, who is returning to the silver screen, thanked Vikram Bhatt for bringing her back to films.
"After 14 years, you have taken the responsibility to do that. And you have done it fantastically well. And I'm so glad that you saw something in me which would justify playing Meenakshi Sharma.
"There is a lot of intensity to this character. There was a lot of intensity within me that was waiting to explode. And that's what you're going to get to see in our film,&rdquo; she said.
"Tumko Meri Kasam" is presented by Mahesh Bhatt &amp; Indira Entertainment. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on March 21.

"This is a dream come true," said Madison.
"I grew up in Los Angeles, but Hollywood always felt so far away from me. So to be here standing in this room today is really incredible."
A shellshocked Madison later told reporters backstage she was still processing a win that looked set to open career doors -- even though she had no idea what was next.
"I just know that tonight I'm going to go home to my new puppies and probably clean up their mess," she laughed.
Her win was something of an upset, as she bested 1990s megastar Demi Moore, who had been the odds-on favorite to cap a late career flourish with a golden statuette for body-horror flick "The Substance."
Baker used one of his four acceptance speeches to urge support for independent movies.
"I want to thank the Academy for recognizing a truly independent film. This film was made on the blood, sweat and tears of incredible indie artists," he said.
The five wins by "Anora" -- out of six nominations -- was an impressive haul for a movie made for just $6 million, a tiny sum by Hollywood standards.
The film's triumph came at the expense of "Conclave" -- a film about the secretive and cut-throat election of a new Catholic leader that had been lent an uncanny timeliness by the real-life health woes of Pope Francis.

The more than three-and-a-half hour Oscars broadcast was a relatively staid affair, with little of the political tub-thumping that has characterized previous editions.

Adrien Brody won his second career Oscar for his role as Laszlo Toth, a Hungarian Jewish architect making a new life in the United States after World War II in "The Brutalist."
Brody, whose first statuette was for 2002's "The Pianist," joins an elite club of double winners including Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson.
Oscars show producers tried to play Brody off the stage twice during his lengthy acceptance, offering one of the few moments of levity in an otherwise serious speech.
"Please, I've done this before," he said.
"Emilia Perez" star Zoe Saldana won for best supporting actress, and she emotionally thanked her family.

Asked if he would like to work in South cinema, the actor told PTI: "With the right opportunities, I'm open to it (exploring South cinema)." He was speaking on the green carpet of the IIFA Awards 2025 underway in Jaipur on Sunday.
Fardeen said he is happy to have made a comeback at a time when things are looking good for Indian cinema.
"I'm looking forward to doing some meaningful work like I always have. I'm at a different age and stage of my career. The audiences have changed, the writing has changed... Something with meaning and entertaining as wholesome.
"Whether positive or negative (roles), just happy to be working to be honest. This is such a great time for Indian cinema. There's so much content out there, so much new talent, such a fresh eye on the way films are being written, and what audiences are liking," he added.

During the interview, Alia opened up about the challenges she faced prior to her diagnosis. "I was recently clinically diagnosed with it. It wasn't just about having an anxious day anymore,"
she explained. "I was finding it hard&mdash;my body would heat up at social gatherings, and I struggled to focus on certain things."
To better understand her condition, Alia opted for a thorough professional evaluation over three days. The diagnosis of ADHD and anxiety, instead of being daunting, brought her a sense of relief. "Strangely, I felt happy.
It provided me with information. I&rsquo;m always seeking clarity, and this diagnosis gave me that," she stated, adding that being aware of her conditions made managing them simpler.
Interestingly, Alia has chosen not to pursue medication. "Although I can be [on medication], I choose not to.
I am just actively working on it to get through it," she affirmed, expressing confidence in her ability to manage the symptoms effectively.
