      ‘Kannapa’: Kajal Aggarwal set to join the cast of Akshay Kumar’s Telugu debut film: Reports

      Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was confirmed to be a part of Telugu film ‘Kannapa’ on April 16. Now the reports are emerging that Kajal Aggarwal has also joined the cast of this film. Here’s what we know.

      Kajal Aggarwal on board ‘Kannapa’: Report

      A Hindustan Times report has suggested that Kajal Aggarwal has joined the Telugu film starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead role, however, the makers are yet to make an official announcement about the same.

      The report quoted a source as saying, “Vishnu Manchu’s film Kannapa is only going to get bigger. As you know, it was announced this morning that Akshay Kumar is playing an important role in this film. Top south actor Kajal Aggarwal is also part of the project and the filmmakers will make the announcement shortly.”

      On Tuesday, Telugu star Vishnu Manchu shared the news of Akshay joining the film. The actor welcome Akshay in the Telugu Film Industry and wrote, “The #Kannappa journey just got more thrilling as we welcome the Superstar Mr. Akshay Kumar to the Telugu Film Industry. Thrilled to announce his debut in Telugu cinema with Kannappa. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!”

      About ‘Kannappa’

      Directed by Mukesh Kumar, ‘Kannapa’ is based on the devotee of Lord Shiva. Vishnu Manchu will play ‘Kannapa’ in the film. If the reports are to be believed Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the role of Lord Shiva. The film also stars Preity Mukhundhan, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Nayanthara, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo and Mukesh Rishi in important roles.
