'Leo': Vijay Thalapathy fans vandalise theatre in Chennai during mass trailer screening

Vijay Thalapathy starrer 'Leo’s trailer was released on October 5 and to celebrate it, Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai had organised a special screening for fans and offered free admission to those who wanted to watch it on the big screen, India Today reported.

But the fans became unruly and destroyed the seats and the video of the incident is going viral online.

Industry tracker Manobala Vijayabalan shared some photos and videos from the theatre to show the vandalised seats by Thalapathy’s fans. Fans’ excitement knew no bounds and they had gathered at theatres in large numbers.

According to Indian Express, the trailer screening was initially planned outside the theatre in the car parking but as the Koyambedu police refused to provide security, it was moved indoors. The trailer was released in the Tamil language.

'Leo' is one of the most awaited films of the superstar.

About the trailer

The trailer opens with a view of Kashmir and the story keeps on moving between past and present. It shows a dramatic chase sequence and lots of action scenes.

Vijay Thalapthy, who is seen in his younger and older version in the trailer, seems to be on a revenge mission. Sanjay Dutt is also seen playing a villain towards the end of the trailer.
