Prithviraj Sukumaran set to join hands with Mahesh Babu for SS Rajamouli’s next: Reports

If reports are to be believed Prithviraj Sukumaran is all set to join SS Rajamouli’s next film. The talented actor will reportedly be seen playing the role of a villain in the film featuring Mahesh Babu in the lead role.

Prithviraj Sukumaran to join Rajamouli’s film

According to reports, Prithviraj Sukumaran is likely to be the latest addition to the mega budget film, however there is no official confirmation about the same. Reports quoting sources have said that SS Rajamouli is in talks with Prithviraj for the role of main villain. The untitled project, currently being called ‘SSMB 29’, features Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role.

SS Rajamouli on his next film

Earlier this year, the filmmaker went to Japan to attend the screening of ‘RRR’ and spoke about his upcoming project. “We finished writng our next film. We’re in the pre-production process for the film. But, we haven’t finished the casting yet. Only the main hero, the protagonist of the film, is locked. His name is Mahesh Babu. He’s a very good actor and looks like you already know him. He’s very handsome. Hopefully, we finish the film a little bit fast and during the release, I will bring him here. I will introduce him to you.”

About ‘SSMB 29’

Reports suggest that the casting of the film is currently underway and will be announced soon. SS Rajamouli’s ‘SSMB 29’ will reportedly be on the lines of ‘The Indian Jones’. The much-anticipated film is likely to go on floors later this year. SS Rajamouli will reportedly hold the press meet once the project develops further.

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s work front

The actor was last seen in ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and ‘The Goat Life’. He is filming two Malayalam films as well.
