Delhi Crime season 2 trailer: Shefali Shah aka DCP Vartika Chaturvedi is on the hunt for a serial killer

Netflix’s ‘Delhi Crime’ is returning for the second season. Shefali Shah reprises her role as DC Vartika Singh. The show also features Rasika Dugal as Neeti Singh and Vartika's right-hand Bhupendra Singh, played by Rajesh Tailang. Adil Hussain, Anurag Arora, Sidharth Bhardwaj and Gopal Dutt will also reprise their roles in the upcoming season.

The trailer shows how Delhi Police is on the hunt for a serial killer who targets old men and women. The cops struggle to monitor the grim situation in the city as their force is understaffed.

Shefali shared the trailer on Twitter and wrote, "An ominous gang, a city in panic. Is DCP Vartika and her squad prepared for the chaos to come? The trailer for DELHI CRIME SEASON 2 IS HERE! (sic)."

The first season of ‘Delhi Crime’ was written, directed and created by Richie Mehta, who has been credited as the creator in the new season. The first season was based on the infamous 2012 Delhi gang rape.

The series has been produced by SK Global Entertainment, Golden Karavan and Film Karavan. Its showrunner and director is Tanuj Chopra. ‘Delhi Crime’ season 2 releases on August 26 on Netflix.
