'Koffee with Karan': Shah Rukh Khan to appear in season 8? Here's what Karan Johar said

Shah Rukh Khan has been a regular guest at Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee with Karan’ for first three seasons but for the fourth season, SRK skipped the popular talk show. Now Karan has opened up on the whether the superstar will attend the chat show in season 8 or not, in an interview with Pinkvilla.

KJo said “Shah Rukh is there, but I don't think he wants to be in the forefront. He deserves his silence. As fans and filmmakers, we should give him that,” Karan said in the interview.

SRK stopped interacting with media or being at any chat show after his son Aryan Khan’s detention in a drug case in 2021. Though Gauri appeared on ‘Koffee with Karan’ season 7 and shared what the family went through at that time.

Shah Rukh first appeared on ‘Koffee with Karan’ back in 2004 with actor friend Kajol.

Shah Rukh was last seen in Atlee’s directorial ‘Jawan’ which made about 639.09 Cr India net in India. He will next be seen in Raj Kumar’s ‘Dunki’ which releases on December 23.

Koffee with Karan Season 8 will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar at 12 am on October 26 with first episode featuring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
