‘Made In Heaven’ season 2: Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur are back for ‘grandest wedding season’

The second season of ‘Made in Heaven’ is all set to release on Prime Video on August 10. The makers took to social media to share a new poster of the show and also announced its premiere date

Created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, ‘Made in Heaven’ season two will feature seven episodes. The franchise’s cast includes Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Vijay Raaz, who will be reprising their roles.

The show also features new faces such as Mona Singh, Ishwak Singh, and Trinetra Haldar.

Sharing the poster, Zoya Akhtar wrote, ‘Mark your calendars for the grandest wedding season. #MadeInHeavenOnPrime S2, Aug 10!’

The International Emmy-nominated series is produced by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby, and is directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, Neeraj Ghaywan, Nitya Mehra, Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar.

Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti said in a joint statement that ‘Made in Heaven’ holds a special place in their hearts as it’s a ‘true strength of collaboration’ with many creative energies aligning.

‘Made in Heaven reflects the lives of upscale modern India and is narrated through the eyes of two wedding planners, set against the backdrop of quintessential Indian weddings and recurring social prejudices. Our hope is that the latest one is received with as much love as the last,’ the statement read.
