Gurugram-based fast food company Burger Singh recently got a surprise visit from the digital neighbourhood.

The burger restaurant's website was 'defaced' by Pakistani hackers, which the company later restored, it said.

"It seems our digital doorstep got a surprise makeover on the 27th of February 2024, thanks to a special visit from our not-so-friendly neighborhood web wizards, Team Insane PK, straight out of Pakistan," Burger Singh wrote on X.

The hackers allegedly breached the company’s security system and put up a digital graffiti wall.

Adding a flush of humour to the attack, the company said, "Our website didn't just get a new look; it got a whole new attitude, albeit one we didn't sign up for."

Instead of taking immediate action to restore the website, the company claims it left the graffiti up for a day, calling it ‘an open mic night for hackers’.

The company, without naming Pakistan, teased the neighbour saying, "As for our feelings towards the hackers, let's just say we are not losing sleep over it. We are too busy dreaming up the next big thing that'll make Burger Singh more legendary than the GDP of some countries (no names mentioned, of course)."
