Caught on cam: Lawyer assaults woman inside court complex, spectators watch idly

Public apathy has been caught on camera yet again; this time round in Madhya Pradesh's Shahdol.

In a video shot in a court complex, a woman can be seen running from a man who punches her back.

The accused is the lawyer of the woman's estranged husband.

Other people in the video can be seen standing idly by, making no effort to help the woman.

Reports said the accused lawyer Bhagwan Singh has been booked by the police who are probing the reasons that led to the assault 23-year-old Bharti Patel.

Reports said Patel is a nursing mother and was in the court to seek alimony from her estranged husband.
