Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that new works under Rural Augmentation Water Supply programme includes Improvement of water supply scheme at village Niyana, Barwala, District Hisar at an estimate cost of Rs. 2.95 crore. 

Haryana CM approves 10 new projects under Rural Augmentation Water Supply programme

Haryana Government has decided to implement 10 new projects worth more than Rs. 56.36 crore under Rural Augmentation Water Supply programme in 6 districts namely Sirsa, Hisar, Palwal, Mahendragarh, Jhajjar and Rewari.


Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar on Feb 8 accorded administrative approval for these projects to be implemented by the Public Health Engineering Department in Chandigarh

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that new works under Rural Augmentation Water Supply programme includes Improvement of water supply scheme at village Niyana, Barwala, District Hisar at an estimate cost of Rs. 2.95 crore, Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme and Strengthening of Distribution System at Village Kurangawali, Kalanwali, Distt. Sirsa at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.89 crore, Canal Based Water supply scheme in 7 number of Villages of District Rewari at an estimated cost of Rs. 16.88 crore, Providing independent Water Works Neola Block Machhroulli, Distt Jhajjar at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.17 crore, Difference in cost for D.I pipe line to be procured in various villages of District Jhajjar at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.50 crore, Improvement of water supply status of 20 number of villages i.e. Bithla, Amboli, Khanpur Kalan, Khera Thru, Khanpur Khurd, Khorda, Goria, Kaliawas, Sundrehti, Chadwana, Koyalpur, Khetawas, Khaparwas, Bambulia, Jharli, Mohanbari, Jhanswa, Salhawas, Dhani Salhawas and Dhania of District Jhajjar by laying /strengthening of balance existing distribution pipe line at an estimated cost of Rs. 11.75 crore.

Furthermore, Construction of boosting station, Connecting of pipe line in village Nangal Sirohi Tehsil and District Mahendergarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.67 crore, Improvement of water supply scheme by laying of distribution pipe line, FHTC, Installation of 2 Shallow Tubewell and Construction of 2 Under Ground Tank in Village Bamnikhera Block Hodal, Palwal at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.33 crore, Construction of Boosting Station, Drilling of Tubewell and Laying of Balance Distribution system in village Kharkara, Distt. Rewari at an estimated cost of Rs. 9.86 crore, Construction of Boosting Station, Drilling of Tubewell and Laying of Balance Distribution system in village Kharkara Distt. Rewari at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.08 crore.
