No OPDs in Haryana hospitals as over 3000 doctors go on strike

Over 3,000 Haryana doctors have initiated a strike demanding government action on long-standing issues.

Emergency services remain operational, but OPDs are closed.

The Haryana Civil Medical Services Association has warned of a full strike from December 29 if demands, including a separate cadre for specialists, reduced bond amounts for PG doctors, and promotion-based selection of senior medical officers, aren't met.

Doctors protest against the current system of direct recruitment for senior positions.
