In Madhya Pradesh shocker, 15-year-old girl allegedly on the run after killing father, brother

A 15-year-old girl is on the run after the alleged murder of her 53-year-old father and eight-year-old brother.

The twin murder was reported from Jabalpur district in Madhya Pradesh on Friday. The girl was initially reported missing, but Police now suspect her to be involved in the murders.

Police said the girl sent a voice note from her father’s phone to her cousin, after which a team was dispatched to the home. Police broke open the door which was locked from the outside and found the two bodies stuffed in the fridge.

Investigators at first suspected a 19-year-old man, who had earlier served time in prison under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, following a complaint filed by the girl last year.

However, the CCTV footage showed them both together.

Police said teams from the local police station and crime branch are on the lookout for the two. A scooty that is believed to be used by the the accused to flee from the crime scene has also been recovered.
