In PM Modi's home turf, Arvind Kejriwal says he is 'not eyeing top post'

When the battle over Opposition's 2024 PM candidate has already ensued with JDU leader Nitish Kumar setting the benchmark , AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal said he was not eyeing any post during his ongoing tour in poll-bound Gujarat.

NDTV reported that Kejriwal made the remarks responding to a question on whether he wanted to be PM. He said he was not focusing on any posts, just wanted to make India a 'Number-1 country.'

The Delhi CM also defended his deputy on the recent CBI-ED raids calling them attempts to topple his government, while asserting that "Operation Lotus" proved to be a failure in the national capital.

Earlier in the day, Sisodia claimed that he was approached by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with an offer that all cases against him will be closed if he joined the saffron party.
