Hussain has reportedly told the media and his interrogators that he was sent on the mission by a Pakistani Intelligence officer, identified as Colonel Yunus Chaudhry. 

Indian soldiers donate blood to terrorist captured in J&K

A Pakistani terrorist who was captured while attempting to a attack a border post in Rajouri district of Kashmir was given new lease of life after Indian soldiers donated their blood to save him. The terrorist, identified as Tabarak Hussain was injured in Indian army’s firing on August 21.

Hailing from Sabzkot village in Kotli district of Pakistan occupied Kashmir, Hussain received three bottles of blood.

Hussain along with two other terrorists was spotted on the Indian line of control on the morning of Aug 21. The alert soldiers deployed in the Jhangar sector of Nowshera challenged the militants and started firing. During a bid to flee, Hussain was shot in the shoulder and thigh. Due to excessive bleeding he had to be operated upon. This is when the Indian soldiers stepped in and gave him blood, Brigadier Kapil Rana, Commander, Nowshera Brigade said.

The Commander also revealed that Hussain along with his brother Haroon Ali were previously caught in an infiltration bid back in 2016. Hussain was 15, thus they were repatriated on humanitarian grounds in November 2017

Hussain has reportedly told the media and his interrogators that he was sent on the mission by a Pakistani Intelligence officer, identified as Colonel Yunus Chaudhry who paid him 30,000 Pakistani rupees. The army officials also revealed Hussain's other brother, Mohammad Sayeed, was apprehended by soldiers in the same area in 2019.
