Priest Yati Narsinghanand is in the eye of another storm over comments allegedly made at an event in the national capital.

Months after a controversial 'dharma sansad' in Haridwar, the same organisers held a 'Hindu Mahapanchayat' in Delhi's Burari on April 3, as per news agency PTI. The organisers did not have permission from Delhi police for the event, according to PTI.

In unverified videos on social media, Narsinghanand was heard saying, "Only in 2029 will India's PM be a Muslim. Only in 2029. If the government does something daring, then India will have a Muslim PM in 2034. Even if god smiles on you in 2034, then India will have a Muslim PM in 2039. That's how long you have till Armageddon. Once India's PM is Muslim, then in the next 20 years, 50% of people will change their religion. All the Muslims in India did not come from Arabia. They were our brothers."

Narsinghanand, head priest of the Dasna Devi temple, is currently on bail in the Haridwar alleged hate speech case. At the Haridwar event, speakers had been accused of calling for violence against the Muslim community.
