NCB officer Sameer Wankhede's wife Kranti Redkar addressed the press on Tuesday refuting allegations by NCP leader Nawab Malik. Redkar stated that her husband is not a liar and that the family will not tolerate all these allegations by minister Nawab Malik.

'How can there be a media trial for a person with a clean record for the past 15 years,' she questioned, adding that he cannot be accused like this without proof.

Redkar said in the end that they are simple people and do not have a lot of money to fight a battle in the court. She added that they will continue to fight with the public's support as long as they can.

'Once the issue gets out of hand, then we will definitely approach the court,' Redkar remarked.

Kranti Redkar's comments came after NCP leader Nawab Malik continued with his attacks on NCB officer Sameer Wankhede, levelling fresh allegations on the officer who is probing the Aryan Khan drug case.
