Oscars 2023: PM Modi congratulates Team 'RRR' for 'Naatu Naatu's historic Best Original Song win

Following the historic victory of 'RRR' song 'Naatu Naatu' at the 2023 Oscars event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the composer, lyricist, and the film's entire team.

PM Modi called the win "exceptional" and said that 'Naatu Naatu' has global popularity, and will be "remembered for years to come". He concluded by saying that India is "elated and proud".

'Naatu Naatu' is the first song from an Indian film to win the Best Original Song award at the Oscars.
