Plane that crashed in Afghanistan not Indian: Civil Aviation Ministry

After Afghan media reported that an Indian passenger plane reportedly crashed in Afghanistan on Sunday. The Civil Aviation Ministry soon refuted their claims stating that the aircraft was registered in Morocco.

      Plane that crashed in Afghanistan not Indian: Civil Aviation Ministry

      The plane that reportedly crashed in Afghanistan on Saturday night is not an Indian carrier, the civil aviation ministry confirmed on X on Sunday afternoon.

      The ministry in its first official statement said that the plane which crashed in Afghanistan was neither an Indian Scheduled Aircraft nor a Non Scheduled Charter aircraft.

      Earlier, Afghan media had reported that an Indian passenger plane had crashed in the mountainous region of Badakhshan district after reportedly going off radar.
